September’s Non-Specific sees Cruel Hearts Club gracing the ones and twos. The London-based trio are comprised of sisters Edie and Gita Langley, alongside “ninja on speed”, Gabi Woo, keeping more than just time on drums.
Fresh from supporting Iggy Pop, expect to hear plenty of him, alongside Hole, The Breeders, QOTSA, as they wear their inspiration on their sleeves and give their take on Non-Specific Rock ‘n’ Roll
All taking place on 19th September, they’ll be keeping the vibes high till 2am. Free entry as always, because we’re a bar.
After which they’ll be hot-footing it up to The Sun Tavern to spin some of their Sunday best (and anything they haul from Rough Trade) on the decks for our pleasure.
25% off your drinks tab with copy of the album. Free entry and open til 12am

Expect their Redchurch Lager, Shoreditch Blonde, Paradise Pale, every Tuesday at £3 a pop.
We’re matching the weather next month, brightening up our monthly Whisk(e)y Cocktails selection giving Nikka Days Japanese Blended Whisky it’s moment in the sun.
A vibrant addition to the Nikka range, this is a bright and vivacious marriage of malt and grain whiskies sourced from both Nikka’s Yoichi and Miyagiko distilleries.
Boasting a medium body, it possesses an array of floral and zesty flavours, an underlying vanilla-toffee depth, and a light touch of peat smoke to finish.
This light, fresh, and delicate whisky makes for a delicious sipping dram, and is just as at home sitting in a tall, refreshing highball. Perfect for the warmer climes ahead.

The guys at Highgate’s Gorgeous Brewery are next up behind the stick. They’re fiercely independent, family-owned, and family-run – following in the footsteps of their grandmother Marion.
They pride themselves on using as little automation as possible, since this means that a whole lot more hard work and care goes into everything they make. All their beers are unrefined, unfiltered, and 100% vegan so you can drink with that moral compass well and truly intact.
You can expect their Gunpowder IPA, Guzzla Lager, along with some other brews on our taps. Cheers.
